Overview

A high volume direct mail service provider (MSP) reached out to us to help them provide their customers with better DM response rates.  

Microsite & PURLs

The MSP’s client was looking to find more avenues to tie their digital presence with their direct mail campaigns, so we designed a program using QR Codes/PURLs and inbound SMS.  Both solutions required microsite or landing page development, along with setting up a way to get leads back to their customer’s Salesforce CRM.  

Direct Mail Campaign

Before implementing PURLs/QR codes, the MSP’s client was using generic landing pages and variable phone numbers to generate leads and measure responses.  

Reporting

MSP was having a difficult time measuring success for their clients as the phone numbers and landing pages have been used in multiple campaigns over time. With our seamless lead generation and branded reporting suite, the MSP was able to pass real-time warm (form abandonment) and hot (form completion) leads to the client’s CRM.   

Success

In addition to a lift in response, the client was able to capture “warm” leads that they had no insight on previously.  Warm leads are defined as those that have scanned the QR or navigated to the PURL but did not complete the form.  With old, generic landing pages, they have no visibility of who navigated to the site. 

Immediate Response Lift

Once implementing PURLs and QR codes, the client saw an immediate lift in response by 14%
